How to delete uninstalled games?

I have some game demos that I've uninstalled. Apparently they are still on the harddrive taking up space, because if I navigate to
Games and scroll to the right, they are all listed as being
Ready To Install still. There is no option on Menu to delete them from there, and the
Manage Game option doesn't list anything suitable either.

So how do I get rid of them? TIA.

Xbox One: After uninstalling games, how do you delete “ready to install” game notifications of the uninstalled games listed under “Games” menu? I uninstalled the games, won’t play them and don’t want them. How do you make the notice go away?

If I delete a game using uninstall from the XB1 hard drive what happens to all the save games etc associated with it?

On the 360 they were always still linked to the game even if you uninstalled it but having uninstalled Tomb Raider today to create some space there is no reference to the game at all on the console even though there should be a saved SP game....

 

If they are uninstalled they dont take up space.

 

You can't get rid of that list but those aren't taking up space

The way I understand it, it's just a list of games of demos that you've "purchased" (even if they were free) and you own then for ever, so if you want to reinstall any of them anytime in the future, they're there, that's all. As other posters pointed out,
they're not on your drive and don't take up any space.

What on earth are you guys talking about? There's an option to hide them! Simply press the menu button on your controller while highlighting the recently uninstalled demo/game/app and select it as an option. Do that and they're practically gone until you
"unhide" it - it even tells you how to do that before you hide it!

 

^^^ He is right. I did this just last wee for some demos and Games with Gold stuff. Got my Xbox back from repair and didnt want to reinstall all of them.

 

If you select manage game while they are in that list a hide option will be available. To unhide the list hold both trigger buttons and hit X. If you ever want to reinstall anything.

That list is just like the download history on the Xbox 360. Whatever is on that list isn't installed on your hard drive. GG is spot on with the hide feature, if you don't wanna see them more more use that feature.

 

those are placecards to remind you that you had them.. the game is not there.. just the graphic

 

A uninstall game still in your hard drive takes up as much space as a loose hair in your room.

 

I had games that downloaded by themselves. I have uninstalled them and now they are in the ready to install folder. Is there still no way of deleting them permanently?

Also has anyone else had the same issue with games being downloaded that you didnt want? Van helsing was one of them that randomly downloaded on mine.
