how to delete downloaded files without file explorer?

I'm annoyed at how Microsoft is doing here.

Yes, I have seen this, but I am looking for a solution without installing any more software, especially without knowing the authors.

I didn't notice the files until I wanted to upload files via Internet Explorer. When uploading, a file dialog opens, where I can see the folders and files.

Hopefully there is another solution.

Try to install the free trial of "My Files Explorer" or you can but it. Then maybe you can delete the files you want, but if doesn't work, try to install a
free app called "Files & Folders Lite".

So far it seems that they are inaccessible and unable to be found or deleted. We need File Explorer or a new version of it in order to access and manage our downloaded files. We need File Explorer for both Downloaded files from Internet Explorer and transfered

There's a free app called "Files&Folders Lite". It does take some getting used to, but it works. I can once again download wallpapers on Edge and set them as a background.
