    When I was about 12 I got my first Xbox and it required me to have an adult make an account, so my dad made one so he could manage what I could and couldn't do, I'm not 18 and can't play certain games because it has so called "in game purchases" and since
    its a "childs account" i'm on I can't play it,( same gamertag/account i've always had i believe ) I have no idea what the password to my dads account was and neither does he, but considering i'm no longer a child this is mildly aggravating. Any help is much
    apprecitated.

    Hi I have just got an Xbox one for X mas and I made account and it was all working
    I then bought gold and I was fine until I tried to buy a £35 giftcard (today) to buy the BO3 Season pass and I got the 35 on the console to buy it and when I tried to buy it of the store it said I wasn't allowed and I needed to change settings in online privacy and allow buying online
    turns out my brother had deleted the adult account and I can't get back on it as It is deleted I have tried creating new adult accounts but they wont work on allowing my account Sherbertlemons0 to buy stuff how do create a new account to be the adult of Sherbertlemons0 as it wont let me buy stuff
    please help me anybody as I have spent £75 this month on stuff for xbox and don't really want to create a new account what do I do and how can I create another new adult account for Sherbertlemons0???

    how to delete

    You can't.

    By formatting your hard drive you have deleted everything.

    You can redownload any downloaded games,dlc etc from your download history in the account section on the dash but your saves are gone i'm afraid.

    In future it's always best to start your own thread instead of bumping old ones.

    If you know what the email and Microsoft account password is for the adult account you can just add it back to the console if you do not know what the password is but know the email you can go to account.live.com/acsr and fill out the account recovery form
    and try to reset the password and once its reset you can then add it back to the console

    Hello

    The only way to do that is by signing in as the adult and removing the child account. He might have access to his adult account.

    He can add your account. Remove his account THEN delete your account off the xbox. That is the ONLY way I know of it.

    You can not change an adult account to a child account. Deleting the accounts will lose all data and purchases. If you have a Microsoft email (@live.com @hotmail.com @outlook.com) you can not change email as this will delete the account completely.
