    How to delete a profile on an Xbox 360?


    Please help! Is there a way to delete unwanted profiles from an Xbox 360? My son received an Xbox 360 for Christmas and in an attempt to set it up he created multiple profiles. We just want to delete the profiles he will not be using. This is only one of
    many issues we have had with this game system and are becoming very frustrated. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I just want my gamer gaming on his new system. Thank you!!!

    How to delete a profile

    center xbox button, settings tab, system settings, storage, choose the device where the profile is saved, then choose gamer profiles, select the profile and there should be a delete and move option. hope this helped

    We purchased a pre-owned XBOX 360 w/Kinect and want to delete the previous owner's profile.

    Can't figure out how to do it. Has anyone done this? Is it even possible?

    You could also try resetting it to factory defaults, there should be a factory reset option somewhere in the settings, or format the hard drive, which will delete everything from the hard drive (Settings - System - Storage - Highlight a storage device and

    All my achievements are missing, and my avatar has gone blank. My theme is also missing.

    Hi there,

    something on the profile on the xbox 360 seems to have corrupted. Since all is shown correctly on xbox.com the thing to do is to delete your profile (profile only) on the xbox 360 and redownload it.

    If you only delete the profile, that won't affect any save games etc.

    Everytime I go into a game it signs me out!

    Hey there! I've heard of someone having issues like this before and these steps cleared everything up for them:

    -Delete your profile ONLY (do NOT delete profile and items; here's a guide to show you how to download, move, or delete your Xbox LIVE profile).

    -Clear your system cache (use this guide that shows you how to clear your Xbox 360 system cache).

    -Restart your console.

    -Download your profile (use the first guide that shows you how to download, move, or delete your Xbox LIVE profile again).

    Give that a shot and let us know how it worked! ^_^
