How to delete a Microsoft family account on mobile

If you're still a minor, removing yourself from the family group or leaving a family group should not be an option. For you to manage it you can simply sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings.

If the system detects that your account is a child account you will be redirected to a support site and if not you will be able to change it successfully.

If you were redirected to a support page, please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/family and check if there is an organizer account linked to your account then ask the organizer account to sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings then "allow" the setting on this screenshot:

No I would happily delete the Xbox live account but how does that remove the Xbox live account already on her account. I didn't create this profile so am unable to delete from her Microsoft account. I just need to give her an profile connected under the
family plan

Usually the parent should be able to set up the parental settings for a child account via
http://account.xbox.com/settings or via
https://account.microsoft.com/family

If that fails then I do suggest contacting Xbox Support (via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat) at
http://support.xbox.com/contact-us

Just to confirm, would doing this delete or invalidate the email/Microsoft account of my family member?

In other words, if I did this could my Microsoft account be linked to that gamer tag whilst my family member's Microsoft account remains intact and completely separate?
