How To Deal With Player Toxcicity and Misuse of LFG?

Hey All,

Recently, I've been utilizing the LFG feature to search for players to connect and game with on one of my favorite games, Monster Hunter: World. However, as of late, the LFG posts specifically for this game have been strange; One individual has been spamming the LFG full of propaganda for their religion, while many other repeat offenders spread toxicity within the LFG. As a newly-made Xbox Ambassador, I now feel a newfound reason to combat such toxicity, especially when it pertains to my one of my favorite games.

Last night, I was browsing the LFG, when I came across two posts made by a user. These posts were to be open for the max amount of time allowed for posts, a method that spammers will use in LFG to leave their ads up for as long as possible. His posts, however, directly attacked a specific player for what he described as "idiocy", and he continued to ridicule them in his next post for being "bad at the game". I hate seeing posts like this, especially in a game community which I have always known to be incredibly kind and accepting of new players.

Long story short, I messaged the individual who was causing all this trouble, and politely asked him to stop. I also reminded him that misuse of the Xbox LFG feature, as well as his apparent toxicity, would likely result in a temporary ban in the future (not that I told him that I would/could ban him, only that his behavior would likely be noticed by many more people, and reported eventually). He responded , and told me, less than politely, that he had been doing this (this being harassing other people on LFG) for "longer than I'd been playing", and that there was nothing I could do about it. Once again, I respectfully asked him to stop spreading toxicity and misusing the LFG feature, but he continued to be difficult to deal with.

I've messaged the other individual who was being harassed, and told themto ignore toxic players, and that if he ever needed help in-game, I would be happy to oblige. And so, my question here is this; I'm no stranger to simply ignoring toxicity, reporting it, and moving on, but what do I do in this case? I hate to see my in-game community ruined by a few kids with zero self-control or respect for others. How do I report a player blatantly misusing LFG and openly harassing other players?

P.S. If it helps my case, I have messages from both parties, as well as the usernames of everyone involved. I would be happy if there is something that could be done about this troll, and if evidence is needed for action, I have it.
