How to contact microsoft for a refund of downloaded game?

I paid and downloaded a game yesterday for my son which was not as expected. The game has been played for less than an hour and now deleted.

I have waited 24 hours but still cannot see the 'request refund' option in payment history next to the purchase.

I have tried to find a way to contact Microsoft but on each browser used I select the relevant sections until it reaches step 3 'choose a contact method' and then its blank, empty void.....

can anyone advise me how I can actually contact microsoft please

Minecarft Story payment episode 4

Microsoft charge 5.99 euros for episode 4 of minecraft story for xbox 360 although I own a season pass. My son downloaded the episode as he did for the other ones. It is impossible to contact microsoft xbox assistance to ask for a refund as they are never
available.

Hello! Were you trying to request a refund by going to account.microsoft.com then payments & billing and finally order history? There may be an option for "Request a refund." as long as it meets the following criteria.

You bought the item within last 14 days.

You and any anyone else used or played it for a total of no more than 2 hours.

Your home console, PC, and any other device you installed it on turned on and signed in to the internet.

The game or app isn't running on any device.

If the option still is not there you would want to contact Microsoft support directly to see if there is anything they can do. The easiest way to reach them is at support.xbox.com then click on Contact Us, then billing issues.

Was the purchase made on Microsoft/Xbox Store or on Epic Games Store?

Also, the message you said you're receiving (asked for too many refunds already), did you get it from an email after asking for the refund or did you get it on the website when trying to ask for the refund? Can you share a screenshot of it without sharing any personal information, please?

Depending on how long you've owned the game and who made it, you can try contacting them or Microsoft for a refund.

Once you click Confirm Purchase, the transaction is complete regardless if the download completes. If a game was bought by accident you might be able to contact Microsoft Support to see what your refund options are but typically the purchase disclaimer specifically
states "No Refunds for this item"
