How to connect phone to Xbox? 10 digit code is not in settings.

Let me help you with your concern today. Please note that this is a public forum, I will be responding to you in short period of time and I apologize for a delay in response. As I am merely a user trying to provide insight and information that may be helpful.

The code will only show up on the screen while you are setting up an Xbox console. You will have to select "Add an existing console" and not "Setup a new console" on your Xbox app so that it won't ask you for a code.

Just Enable remote features on your Xbox console, then go to Xbox app, set up a console > add an existing console > next > then they will be connected. Make sure to sign in on the Xbox app using the same account on your console.

but how would that affect me from recieving a verification code. Its a normal 10 digit phone number which i used back in june to verify a code through microsoft earlier.

I am having the same problem. SmartGlass for Xbox 360 says it cannot find my console.

My Xbox 360 console is connected via Wifi. I have tried connecting with the Xbox 360 SmartGlass app via Windows 10 (2 different PCs - one Wifi, one wired), Android phone, Windows Mobile 10 and iPad.

I have tried restarting all of my networking equipment and devices multiple times.

The error I receive is 0xc00d11cd (0xc101000c) on the Windows 10 PCs.

The Windows Mobile 10 phone says Status code: 1012

I have tried all the suggested steps - making sure console is on, making sure I'm using the same Microsoft account, and I have the Connected Devices setting enabled on the console.

Are you trying to set up your Xbox via the Xbox app?

If that's correct, once downloaded the Xbox app and allowing the required permission on your phone, you should be able to enter the 10-digit code that your Xbox displays on the screen.

Could I know in what exact part of the setup you're having trouble?
Please share pictures, but make sure to hide personal information, including the 10-digit code.

My child is attempting to play in a realm on Minecraft Pocket Edition on his phone. It works just fine when we play on the Xbox, but we are traveling and he would like to connect from his phone. It says he cannot play because of how his Xbox live account
is set up. You can change these settings online. I went and double checked to make sure, all the privacy settings for Xbox One and Windows 10 are set to allow so he should be able to play online.
