How to connect my xbox one s to my android mobile hotspot

Hello, first off I appreciate anyone taking the time to help me out!

We lost internet due storms and are currently waiting for the repairmen to come out.

In the meantime is there anyway I can connect my mobile hotspot from my android to the xbox?

I have tried to but it says it can't connect so I was trying to figure out if there is something else I need to try.

Although this may be too late, but try to perform a quick power cycle to the Xbox console.

Then, you can simply access your phone settings, look for hotspot in the search loop, and all you need to do is to select the hotspot icon, and try to connect to it.

Not sure how this is related to xbox gaming (I am assuming you are using your phone as a mobile hotspot). Any phone purchased in the last 2 or 3 years automatically uses IPv4 and IPv6 (my understanding from years of gaming on PC, iPad and Xbox using mobile hotspot).

I don't think there is a specific setting (I don't see such a setting on either my Android Phone or my iPhone) and I have used both the android and iPhone for hotspot and xbox gaming.

I'm using my mobile hotspot and my Hotspot did connect wants to my Xbox One with no problems now it's having a problem connecting to my Xbox one can anybody give me any any good information how to fix this I do not have a router

I also have tried using my mobile hotspot and it wont even connect using my mobile hotspot. I have 2 different XBOX 360s and neither one will connect that way. It will work if I hardwire it.

Another user suggested I try connecting to a mobile hotspot instead of home's wireless network. Strangely, XBL worked when connected to the mobile hotspot. Why would one Xbox One (X) work on my wireless but the other (original) does not?
