    How to connect my XB1 to my uni LAN?


    We have to enter a proxy address in Windows to connect. It's something like 172.16.2.30:8080.

    Now I can't find that setting on my Xbox One S. I've tried using my laptop as a hotspot, doesn't work. I also tried sharing my internet connection as recommended my Microsoft: http://support-origin.xbox.com/ar-AE/xbox-one/networking/connect-live-using-pc

    Didn't work.

    I think I'll need the help of someone with some real experience to sort this out.

    I'm a masters student whos just finished his thesis, I've worked my ass off. Right now I'm on vacation but stuck here at the institute, I deserve playing.
    HELP!
