How to connect 2 xbox consoles to 1 xbox live account?

My son has had an xbox and xbox live for years now, anyway we bought a new xbox console for my daughter for Christmas. It came with the usual 1 month membership which has now run out. Is it possible to connect my daughters xbox console to my sons gold
membership? Or do I have to pay for them to have separate xbox gold accounts?

Installing games to Xbox one. Please help?!

Try doing the following:

1) Disconnect the console from Xbox Live.

2) Power cycle the console by holding down the Xbox button on the front of the controller for ten seconds.

3) Restart console, but don't connect to Xbox Live yet.

4) Install the game.

5) Connect to Xbox Live.

6) Install any game updates (if required).

I'm afraid nickisullivan13 is correct, you will need to buy another xbox live gold subscription. Any seperate xbox live account on the xbox 360 needs it's own subscription to be able to use the gold features like online multiplayer etc

I have no problems connecting and staying connected to xbox live when using only 1 xbox. My problem occurs when using 2 xbox live family accounts at the same time.

For example, Xbox 1 connects to xbox live using account 1 and begins to play Dungeon Defenders. Xbox 2 then connects to xbox live using account 2 and begins to play Dungeon Defenders (purchased separately on account 2). The player on account 1 then sends
an invite to join player 1's game. Player 2 receives the invite, but then has an error connecting to game. Any further game invites are not received by player 2. Player 2 will then be logged off of xbox live and will not be able to reconnect for approximately
10 minutes.

I have also tried the same using CD based video games rather than DLC. I have two copies of Modern Warfare 3 and the same error occurs. I do not suspect that my router or modem are the problem. I reset my router and modem about once every week. A single
xbox has no problem connecting to xbox live. The problem occurs when 2 xboxs try to connect to xbox live at the same time. Please hel;p. Thanks.

I would like to confirm what Brad just said above. account 1(which has live gold subscription) sets up xbox#1 as the home console. and account 2 is set up as the main account for xbox#2 but the home console is xbox#1. if account 1 is signed in on xbox
#2 and account 2 is signed in on xbox #1. will xbox #1 will be able to have access to live gold? I hope I explained my question well enough.
