Genchy, you are rude and I'm offended. I will not reply to you again if you keep up with that kind of attitude. You may not like how I act or do things, but you will still respect me as an individual. I will be waiting for an apology.

Enen, they don't make it hard at all. People just don't take the time to look or don't know how. On almost every company webpage ever, there's going to be a link at the very bottom of EVERY PAGE that will either say "support" or "contact us" - that's how
you get a hold of them. Give them the time of a respectful and well thought out reply regarding your concerns and they will listen.

    :)

    How to Complain?

    Hey friends,

I am trying to find an appropriate area where I can address my concerns as a customer so that the xbox/microsoft organization can learn from my situation and hopefully find better ways to deal with it in the future. I have not had any luck finding the appropriate
forum and the representative I was talking to did not know of such a forum. What are my options?

    @GG

You clearly don't practice what u preach:

Electronic Arts Home Page - Official EA Site

No contact us, no support, there is connect with us, but nothing clear on how I complain or who to.

    Activision | Home

does have a contact us and takes you to

    Activision Support

But how do you complain and be heard?

as I said, you can message a company, and tell them what you like, the likely hood of the right person seeing it, is slim to nil, and then someone being able to act on it is even slimmer.

I would happily give the time, if I thought companies will listen but I am not about to delude myself into thinking my opinion or money) as single transaction means anything.

@Tohe, there place to offer my opinion, feedback or complaint on the link you have posted.

The is no point send any information to the xbox site about BF as it will never been seen by the people that need to know.

Some of us like to complain through the official channels and hope for results, which is fine. Some of us wont pre-order games which is fine as well. Some even do both.

At the end of the day we are all gamers who are affected by shoddy releases so between the various approaches maybe some notice will be taken. Not holding my breath though. ;-)

Help, is asking for help, the thread is talking about complaining (or possibly offering feedback), how do you complain and be heard?

As I stated, no link to complain or offer feedback because they are not interested.

COD duty developers don't read their own forums and certainly don't contribute to them, its very well known.

There was some very very good thoughts on extinction, and not one was implemented.

So... if people know how to complain why are broken games still being released? Why are devs not listening to people who do complain through the correct channels? Or are the correct channels there but nobody is using them?

  13. How to Complain to a Developer

So... if people know how to complain why are broken games still being released? - If people were directed in a more clear way, to exactly where a dev accepts complaints about their
games, there would no doubt, be fewer broken games released. To most 'average' (I would say) consumers, it is much like some here have stated... nigh impossible to find the proper place to do so.

Why are devs not listening to people who do complain through the correct channels? - Most logical explanation (IMO) goes hand in hand with my previous statement. They don't receive
enough complaints to feel a need to address them, because most people just become frustrated by looking for the right place to file a official complaint, to the point that they don't bother.

Or are the correct channels there but nobody is using them? - Most likely this is the culprit and it falls in line with the rest. Even the comments between Enen and Tohelln, are
indicative of (what I feel is) the major problem. Enen posts a few support links and basically says "Where do you find a place to complain and know it's the 'right' place? I don't see one here." Then Tohe goes there, hunts down the 'proper' pages and says
    "you didn't look hard enough".

When people are dissatisfied with something and unhappy enough to complain, they don't want to jump through a half dozen hoops and navigate a confusing mass of vague 'potential'
links that may or may not eventually get them to the right place where their complaint will be heard. BTW, they're paying customers... they shouldn't have to. Customers who are dissatisfied with a product are already frustrated, or they wouldn't be searching
for a place to complain. The process just shouldn't be that difficult to utilize for customers.

If a customer has to [Like Enen has indicated] ask where to go from a game's official support page, in order to file a complaint about said game and someone else [like Tohelln] has
to actually go hunt down the proper place, it isn't the customer's issue, it's the devs/publisher's. Sorry, I'm sure some will disagree, but it's as simple as that.

@Blue, I dissagree completely that Tohe has posted one link to a page a user can complain or offer feedback.

Forum | EA Answers HQ | EN

Answers is a FAQ question type site to get answers for what perceve are known questions a bit like FAQ

    http://help.ea.com/en/

Help is a place to get help with known and unknown issues, like your EA pass not working

Electronic Arts Home Page - Official EA Site

Has no relevance what so ever, a site map is a site map

Please don't assume I haven't look there is no place on activision or EA's site to complain or offer feedback.

By all means post it in their forum contact the live chat support, but it will not reach anyone interested in listening to it. The people who deal in those departments are not in a position to process it and don't care about it.

I agree with the rest of your post though.

  15. @Enen... I admit I didn't follow the links posted, so can't say what can be found there. However, I do know from previous excursions on a few games' sites, that it is pretty difficult to find a specific place to complain/leave feedback about issues and problems
    with games.

However, I still think you agree with the main point I was trying to convey. In fact, if I read what you just posted correctly, then it proves my point even more so. You don't feel a link Tohelln posted was the appropriate one, correct? If so, then that
only strengthens my point that it shouldn't be that hard for a customer to find the right place to let a company know about potential issues... it most certainly shouldn't be confusing enough to make a customer wonder "Is this the right place?" once... if... they
    finally do get there.

Sorry if one of the links Tohelln posted didn't actually go to what you feel is the proper place, but... I hope you understand when I say I'd rather you keep that disagreement between you and Tohelln. I wanted to use the comments between you 2 as a way to
illustrate my point in general, as opposed to accurately depict it. If that makes sense.
