    How to clean the dust


    How to clean dust off the top vent for XBOX One? I can see the dust accumulating on top of the fans, how do I clean it? What is the best way to do it?

    Then how do I clean it if there's dust on it?

    I'm not going to send it in to be repaired when all it is is dust.

    How to clean the dust

    Probably about the only thing you can do is to fully turn off the console unplug it and then use a can of compressed air.

    Compressed air does tend to just blow the dust further into the insides of the Xbox though, personally I take a soft brush and a vacuum cleaner, gently brush the dust out of the vents whilst holding the vacuum cleaner pipe close to the brush. That way you're
    sucking the dust etc out rather than forcing it into the Xbox.

    Surprising where dust can get to, use a laser lens cleaning disc on a regular basis to keep it clean.

    Even a single speck of dust on the lens can affect how it reads discs.
