    How to chose my own gamertag ID?


    I want to change my gamertag but all the Identification numbers are randomised but I want an end number like 1337 or 0000. Is there any way to personalise the specific gamertag? Whenever I choose a name it will automatically pick the ID and it will permanently
    be that name with that permanent ID.

    It'd be fantastic if someone could help

    Hi there,

    as far as I know, this is not possible, the numbers will make the Gamertag unique and are automatically generated, the Gamertag (without #0000) does not have to be unique anymore.

    WPAK is correct with this. the number are automatically assigned to your gamertag if someone else already has the same gamertag. There is no way to choose the numbers yourself.

    Changing the primary Windows Live ID associated with my XBOX Live subscription

    Thanks - I've looked at that article but it only tells me how to change the Windows Live ID associated with the gamertag. This would mean my Windows Live ID is associated with my son's gamertag instead of his own Windows Live ID.

    What I really need to do is transfer the Windows Live subscription over to my Windows Live ID / XBOX gamertag.

    Can someone tell me how to do this please?
