How to check time stamps on Xbox messages?

so i have the xbox app on my ipad, and is their anyway to check if a message was sent, or when the other person sent a message?

When in a text chat with another player, simply scroll up a bit, it should tell you when that conversation started.

 

You can always check your messages via Xbox.com as well, clicking on "My Xbox" at the top and then choosing Messages
