How to change XBOX account WITHOUT DELETEING the old email.

Simply as the title suggests, how can I change the email of the xbox account, not microsoft because when you are a kid you asked your perents permission to make an account but now since Im at old age of 20 years old, I find my self wanting to change the
xbox account email to my new one, the sad unfortunate thing is microsoft has never planned a way to change the email without deleting the previous one which makes no sense at all, why do I want to delete the old one If I want to delete my old email account
I would terminate it instead of doing the account alias change.

Each Xbox profile can only be attached to One Microsoft (MS) account ever.

You can have multiple aliases attached to One MS account.

By what it is sounding like you attached your original Xbox profile to one of your parents email addresses and are now wanting to attach that Xbox profile to your Email address.

I am assuming the original email address that your parents have is still in use and that is quite impressive to have the same email address for 20 years like that. If I had the same email address for 20 years I do not think I would want to get rid of it
either.

You can add and change the account alias but it doesn't mean the other email will be deleted until you delete it. Try logging in with the new email or the old email you used with your account.

The process to fully change an email on the account deleting the old one takes 30 days, and you wouldn't have access to the email without seeing a notification about a the deletion

If you migrated the account you would have the email about the migration in the email account you migrated

I don't want to link an email to my current account. Is there no way to just change the email for my Xbox account without deleting my current Microsoft account?

If you don't access an account in a determined amount of time it will be deleted but the GT could be still on the servers somewhere. You can change the email associated with a Xbox GT but you have to access that account again in order to do it. This year
MS did a cleanup on old accounts without recent logins so the bad news is that account has been already deleted
