    How to change xbox 360 privacy settings


    I purchased black ops 2 season pass for xbox 1 s and since my account settings on my xbox 360 don’t have “premium content” enabled, I cannot download the season pass which is a waste of 50 bucks. How can I change my xbox 360 settings when I don’t own a 360 anymore, and why isn’t it good enough to just have the xbox 1 settings correct in order to access? crazy.

    Belatedly, on the 360, the message is this:

    Premium content is blocked for this profile.

    To change your privacy and online settings, go to settings, privacy.

    I don't know how or why this block is in place, and going to settings, privacy, there doesn't seem to be a useful option there to fix it.

    Looks like it is just a matter of privacy settings.

    To change your Xbox account privacy settings, sign in to the privacy & online safety page:

    https://account.xbox.com/settings

    Set all the settings to "Allow" or "Everyone" on the three tabs:

    Privacy;

    Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One & Windows 10 Online Security;

    Xbox 360 Online Security;

    Note: If you’re on a child account, you’ll need an adult in your family to sign in to their Microsoft account to change your privacy settings. This is done through the Family settings.

    How to change Xbox 360 privacy settings without an Xbox 360

    I understand. It seems the system has detected that your account is a child account or that the problem is usually related to parental control, you can try to disable the family control settings, on account.microsoft.com > Family.

    If the problem does not resolve immediately after disabling "parental control", you can clear the Xbox cache and then restart for the changes to take effect.
