    how to change the “you can’t play multiplayer, check your microsoft settings”


    so i just bought the minecraft java edition (the normal one on my macbook and it was all fine untill i was about to click multiplayer and it wouldnt let me click it and it said “you cant play multiplayer, check your microsoft settings”. so here i am looking
    for hours searching up how i can do this but what only pops up is for xbox and windows. Theres no where on this website that just simply says change your settings here. someone please help.

    I can’t join my friends Minecraft world and they can’t join mine either

    Check your privacy settings under your Microsoft account to see if it allows for multiplayer.

    The world you play on check to see if it is set to allow for multiplayer or not, it does sometimes seem to change that settings aswell.
