How to change the Microsoft account email address associated with Xbox Live?

Does anyone know when this support option will be available for Xbox One?

But When will it be available for Xbox One? I desperately need to change the email associated with my gamertag.

How to Change your Xbox LIVE account information

Overview

It is possible to change information associated with your Xbox LIVE account like your name, address, phone number or email address.

Note: You cannot change the country that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account. If you have moved to another country and you would like to access Xbox LIVE from there, you have to create a new Xbox LIVE account in your new location.

How to Change your name, address, phone number or email on Xbox.com

1) Go to My Account and Sign In with your Microsoft Account. (This is the email and password that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account).

2) Make the changes you want to your billings account information and then click Save.

How to Change your name, address, phone number or email on your console.

1) Sign in using your Xbox LIVE gamertag.

2) Proceed to Settings, and then select Account.

3) Select Your Information, and then go to Billing Information.

4) Sign In with your Microsoft account password.

5) Change your billing account information and then click Done.

In case you want to change the billing name on your Xbox LIVE account, go to Xbox.com

Do one of the following:

If you already have another Microsoft account, select Yes.

If you don't have another Microsoft account, go to accounts.live.com and click Sign up. After you have another Microsoft account set up, select Yes and continue with the next step.

Option 2, go to live.com and follow the intructions

I know this may sound a little irritating, but...

I'm trying to do this on an Xbox one because my sister won't let me touch her email account because she's got quite a lot of important stuff on there, so that means I can't change the alias or even make it primary.

So that means the only option I have is trying to complete the action on an Xbox One, although that is impossible because the option hasn't been implemented yet. All of this would be much easier to complete if I had an Xbox 360, but because I don't I can't
in theory change anything at all.

Thanks for reading, sorry for this becoming a constant pain but it really matters to me because my sisters getting really annoyed.

 

Just do as DaveyBoy said mate. Its a heck of alot easier than it used to be. Trust me I KNOW!!!!

 

You have to be able to get the primary account holder to click a link to authorise the removal, you don't need to click it but you need to be able to get her to click it otherwise your never going to get it changed.

Assuming your sister is ok with the change over, let your sister know when you plan to do it, do through the proceedure, when it says the primary account holder needs to authorise, simple click ok, ring your sister about 2 mins later, tell her she has an
email and can see please read it and click the authorise link, and keep going.

The process is fairly simple, add your new details (i assume you have already done), make you primary and remove her, its very simple.(except you need to get her to authorise 1 - 2 emails).

(don't forget once you have changed over to re-sign in to xbox with the new information)
