    How to change the Email with my old microsoft account


    Hi,

    Not long ago I had changed my internet providers from Westnet to Tpg (Australia Btw) So my email associated with My Maxmanguy05 account had been deleted. When I try to log into my account on start up, it brings me to, "Email: *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** but My westnet
    email was deleted. So when I try to connect to Xbox Live, It says "something is Wrong with your account". When I try to go to accounts on the dashboard its faded so I cannot click on it. It doesnt let me connect to Xbox live. I need some help Please.

    My 11 year old has just lost all his gaming history and is in tears - please help!!!!

    He should just be able to sign in with his old details to get his old account back. Removing it doesn't actually delete it for good.

    I'd disregard the new account he made and sign in with the old password etc. If he just wants to change his email address he can learn how to here: http://support.xbox.com/en-IE/my-account/microsoft-account/change-email-sign-in-for-microsoft-accoun...

    Hey mate, there is no way you will be able to sign-in to the account without an email address associated with it. There will also be nothing you can personally do to fix it.

    I would be getting in contact with Xbox Phone support and see if you can prove you own the account through some of the other information, like billing address details and see if they can change the email for you manually:

    In the top right corner of my Xbox it shows an old email I don't want on there and yes I changed the billing and Microsoft email but I can seem to get rid of that old one appearing but when I sign in to my Microsoft account it's still the old email so that

    Make sure it is there

    change new address to primary

    login make sure its good

    remove old address

    Hi there,

    you can't merge accounts itself or fully move the Xbox Live Account to a different Microsoft Account, but something that could work for you is changing the primary email address for the Microsoft Account.

    My assumption what steps might be required are:

    - Change the primary email on the New Unused Xbox Account account to something else (you might need a new MS account/email for that) so that the Wanted email address is no longer attached to a Microsoft Account.

    - Change the primary email on the Old Xbox account to the new wanted email address, so that that Wanted email address can be used to sign in to the Xbox main account.
