so I have an xbox live account that I play regularly but I don't use the email associated with it anymore. also the email that I want to use for my account auto created a gamertag and I cant figure out how to delete that

How to Change your Xbox LIVE account information

Overview

It is possible to change information associated with your Xbox LIVE account like your name, address, phone number or email address.

Note: You cannot change the country that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account. If you have moved to another country and you would like to access Xbox LIVE from there, you have to create a new Xbox LIVE account in your new location.

How to Change your name, address, phone number or email on Xbox.com

1) Go to My Account and Sign In with your Microsoft Account. (This is the email and password that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account).

2) Make the changes you want to your billings account information and then click Save.

How to Change your name, address, phone number or email on your console.

1) Sign in using your Xbox LIVE gamertag.

2) Proceed to Settings, and then select Account.

3) Select Your Information, and then go to Billing Information.

4) Sign In with your Microsoft account password.

5) Change your billing account information and then click Done.

In case you want to change the billing name on your Xbox LIVE account, go to Xbox.com

I lost my microsoft email account. How to change my account email in xbox live?

I have a lot of content on my Xbox Live, connected to my hotmail email account, but Microsoft doesn't solve the problem to release my email, and I'm afraid of losing all content and 9 years conquists that I have on Xbox Live.

How can I change the email of my Gamertag without being able to access my old email?

As for the email that you want to use, you would need to disassociate that email from that new gamertag first before adding it to the Microsoft account that you want it to be on. you can use the link above for that as well.

Or you could recover this account to your xbox and change the gamertag.

Thank you for responding. Based off the link it is connected to my current account and email information which is my parents. Changing the alias does nothing to the xbox live information it is simply to receive emails which will then change my parents email
again and mess everything up. I need to know how to completely change all the xbox live information to a separate account email and everything so it is my personal information but it seems impossible to do so without making another account, in which case is
extremely redundant and unnecessary.
