    How to change subscription to alternate account?


    I just purchased and Xbox Live Gold subscription, but was mistakenly in my own account when I meant to be in my son's account. How do I get this switched to his account?

    my Alternate email info is wrong, when I was trying to buy games it asks me for code sending to Alternate email address. How can change the Alternate email address

    Windows Live ID won't recognize my pc

    I want to change the automatic subscription to XBL Gold but the email that appears, in order to receive na activation link, is my alternate email, which does not even exist anymore. I´ve tried everything from adding/changing the alternate email adress, to
    sms via phone, with no avail. Seems like changes to my alternate email adress will only take place 30 from now. This might have something to do with the fact that i installed Windows 8 RP just today. I don't really want to associate my XBL to another account.

    It's frustrating.

    You would have to contact support to see if they can cancel the subscription and give you a token to redeem on your son's account. Otherwise, nothing can be transferred between accounts. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or

    sorry i don't think thats possible, there's a clear note that there's no refund for any purchase on XBL

    You might wanna get a new one for your son.

    Gamertag linked to the wrong email address

    In order for someone to change your security info (the alternate account) they must have access to your account. You should change your password as recommended by the support team .

    1) Sign in at http://account.live.com then choose Change Password.

    I assume you have a problem getting the key code when asked since it linked to an alternate account you do not know.

    To change the alternate account. Follow these steps

    1) Sign in at http://account.live.com then choose Edit Security Info

    [Click on the Overview tab --> Security Info]

    2) Delete the alternative email address. (It will take 30 days for changes to occur)

    3) Add a new alternative email

    You have never been able to use your microsoft account balance to pay for a subscription and its likely this will never change, PayPal or credit card would be required or alternatively you can buy xbox live gold subscription cards from retailers.
