How to change profile picture on forum

Hi all,

I have just started using the Xbox forums and want to know how to change my profile picture from the default green one, as you can currently see. My gamerscore shows which is fine. I have recently had to create a new account. I have created a gamertag and
avatar on my Xbox One. Also I noticed others have game pictures showing, how would I get these to show.

Any assistance is appreciated.

OP, I have no idea as to how to change the picture via Xb web site, but if you have gamer pictures on your 360 console.

Settings >profile >edit profile >gamer picture >change gamer picture (This is the one which will show up here on the forums.. Takes an hour or more for the changes)

Or >change personal picture. (Which will show on the console itself.)

This is how I change my picture for both the console and my forum picture.

You can DL free gamer pictures etc by going to games via the console. Click search and then enter >free gamer pictures< and/or themes. Hope this helps!

hi is there anyway to change my profile picture back to my 360 profile picture on the one i accidentally pressed change to avatar picture and it wouldn't let me go back to my old 360 avatar picture anyone know how to fix this?

 

Your xbox one picture won't appear where the green picture is currently as the forums need updated big time however your Xbox one picture will appear at the top beside your profile !! If you want a different picture on your gamer card you need to change
it on a xbox 360 I think.

 

Thanks for the info. My Xbox One picture does appear at the top. Sounds like there is nothing I can do right now to change the appearance then.

 

I think as said above if you change your gamer pic on the 360 it will show on the forum gamer card
