    I have been playing minecraft recently

    and I'm unable to join my friends work due to NAT type.

    I checked the Network options in the xbox app in my pc and it said NAT type is

    Strict. How do I Change it?

    To fix the issue, kindly follow the steps below:

    call your internet service provider, ask them to set a fixed ip for the console/pc, and ask them to open the ports described below, disable and enable the UPnP function and disable the modem firewall, if you do. have modem and router the process has to be done on both devices.
    Ask them to put the IP of the console/pc in the DMZ zone.

    Port 88 (UDP)
    Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
    Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
    Port 80 (TCP)
    Port 500 (UDP)
    Port 3544 (UDP)
    Port 4500 (UDP)
