How to change my account from "child" to "adult"?

Back when i got my xbox account like 3-4 years ago, my father set it up as "child". Naturally, i grew up, and no i am a adult, and i would like to change my account to adult. It's annoying that i cant do things such as join a club or change mr profile picture
to a custom image through the account, due to me being a "child".

How would i change my account to adult? Specific steps please? Thank you all!

It should auto update according to the birthday on the account.

You would need to sign in at account.microsoft.com/family with the adult account and remove yourself from the family as a child. This will put you into your own family as an adult

Keep in mind if the date of birth on the account when it was originally setup has not reached its 18th birthday and you do this it will prevent you from signing into your console until you add it as a child to another adult family account.

You are trying to change an adult account to a child account? While the age of the account is determined by the DOB on said account, we can change the privacy settings for this account to have child-like privileges.
To do this, just navigate to Settings>Privacy & online safety>and make the appropriate changes their.

Unfortunately you can not change the birthday from a child to an adult, it must age into one. My best bet would try to recover the account waitedgoblin3 if possible, i know you don't know what account it is but you can at least try to do so.
