How to change email for child and move tag

I created my son an account with my email and didn't realize he needed his own so that I could manage parental settings. Is it possible to move his gamer tag to his new email address and keep mine as adult?

Thank you for your response. Just to clarify. There is no way to save all of his skins, etc if he creates a new gamertag with a new email?

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue. Sadly, there is not a way to move his Gamertag (or licenses and progress) to his new email. It is possible to

change the email alias used for log in; however, this would not change an adult account to that of a child account. In this case, should you wish him to use the new child account that you created for him, he may choose a Gamertag that is close to his other
that is in existence with your adult account. This is something that is really possible now that we have updated the way that Gamertags are created. Please take a look at the following support articles for further information regarding a Microsoft account

Not if he is creating a new account. You can't transfer anything from one account to another.
