Technically transfers cannot be do but you can change the email address associated with a microsoft account.

In order to associate the gamertag with another account you will need to create a whole account with an email address and then do the following to associate the gamertag to that account. How

I always use http://account.live.com to change my email address. Login with your info and then add a primary alias to your account. This will change your current email to your new one.

First of all you will need to change the email address that is associated with the "dummy" account, which will free up the email address. Then change the email address that is associated with your main gamertag as it will
now be free to use.

The Download History is linked to the gamertag, not the email associated with it so it will be safe if you change the email address.
