how to change age on microsoft?

I want to change my age on my microsoft account. But when I take the last step, 'change' is printed in bold and I can not change it.

Can you help me?

how to change age on live accounts

new to Xbox360, bought Live Gold for my son for Christmas, entered his info correctly.

we got him Battlefied3, which from reading in here EA won't allow him to play until his account reaches 13

as parents we will allow him to play

long story short, is there a way to access his Live Gold info and change his birthdate

if not, if we delete his gamertag can we create a new one and use the same Live Gold code or will it be lost?

It is a violation of the XBL Terms of Service to create a false identity to mislead others, in this case that would EA/MS. There are restrictions in place for a reason, you may not agree with them but you did sign a contract,
actually two (one with MS and one with EA), stating you would follow their terms and conditions.

*What kind of an example are you setting for your son if you do this? To me all it shows him is that if he can't get his way he should lie until he does. Nice parenting. (Sarcasm intended)

The age on your Xbox account is permanent. Should you update your birthdate via Microsoft.xbox.com it will not change the birthdate on your Xbox account.

 

Are you trying to also change your age to verify you are over the age of 18? I think that requires additional validation.

 

Here is a
short guideon how to do it, but from what I understand it also requires verification via credit card or something of the like to make sure you are an actual adult now.
