    How to cancel Xbox bills without the login info?


    My son had Xbox live since he was just a little 6th or 7th grader. Oh, how he loved his Xbox. He created his account and then called his Dad into the room to help him figure out how to actually join Xbox Live. You needed an email address, so he entered
    his gmail/yahoo/hotmail/msn/aol/ address. Then it asked for a credit card. Well, I guess since he didn't have one, I'd enter mine. So I did.

    My son is now 21 years old. How in the hell is my credit card still being charged? How did they get my credit card number? I have Office 365, but I never renewed the Xbox Live. I have had my card replaced a few times!?!?? My son has NO ACCESS to my
    credit card info, he moved off to college at 18.

    I do not want Xbox live. They have been billing me for 5 years without my approval. I do not know the account username/login/email. There is no way to get rid of this plague.

    Hi James,

    The best option would be to contact support, unfortunately there’s not much we can do here on the forums, regarding refunds and cancelling subscriptions.

    When contacting support, you should see a list of support options, try selecting “I don’t recognise a charge” under “subscriptions and billing”. You can then either request a call back or speak to someone on live chat.

    I’d also suggest contacting your bank or card issuer about these charges

    Contacting support should be able to help you for sure, but if you ever want to have this done in the future without contacting them we do have instructions on the site on how to

    cancel your Xbox Live Gold subscription     and
    how to request a refund     if you're interested.

    I'd suggest looking up that info if you ever find yourself in the same situation again and let us know how our information helped in resolving your issue
