How to cancel the gold member renew (less than 30 days until the pay day)

I have selected renew the 1 year gold membership by my credit card at the first place.

than i change my mind to use the redeem code.

the redeem code system told me that i have subscription.

and i went to account management page try to cancel the subscription, but the system told me the the money is already pay (which pay day should be 22nd FEB 2018, BUT Today is 21 Jan 2018!!!!!), if i decide to cancel , I have to go to the "help" page....

then i followed the page, select billing category, and cancel subscription.....and system kicked me back to the very beginning, the account management page of subscription...

dead loop....

i am very angry b`coz the pay day is not come yet(still 1 month), but how can I cancel the gold membership subscruption

Xbox Live Gold ended but Free Multiplayer?

When you “cancel” a subscription, you’ve essentially turned off “auto-renew”.

The $1 promotion you paid for last year should cover an entire month’s worth of time (~30 days), so you’re still able to play online until the Gold subscription actually expires.

how amazing, i get nothing in response to my appeals about my gamertag being removed, not even my two posts in the forums have been approved, yet when i cancel my gold renewal i get a response in less than 30 mins telling me i can renew when i wish... like
that's going to happen!!!

You have two choices, you can either cancel the membership and Xbox Support will be able to refund you the money spent to purchase it on another account (this can only be done
if it's been less than 30 days since you have purchased the Gold Family Pack).

If it's past the 30 day's, then you will have to wait for the account to run out. You will need to make sure automatic renewal is turned off so the subscription does not renew and you will be able to move the account after the gold family pack ends on another
account.

Other than those two options, there is no way to change the primary account on the gold membership.

Hi all. All sorted. Finally got through to support who were very helpful.

The issue was that I had a current gold membership and the system couldn't handle both subscriptions.

Support cancelled my gold, which was fully refunded as it auto renewed less than 30 days ago. This enabled All Access to be activated.

A glitch in the system that should really be sorted out.

You'll need to turn the auto renewal off before it updates the subscription. You can do that under My Account here online or by calling support.

If it has already renewed, contact support to cancel. Despite the no refunds policy, in practice if its been less than 30 days, they'll cancel and refund anything except a one month subscription.
