  1. How to bypass the "Black Screen" issue on Xbox 360

The past few days my Xbox 360 has been staying on the black screen whenever I tried to start a game or app. It has just come to my attention today (after contacting Microsoft support) that it's a very widespread issue. Well, for those of us who just want
to play games, I have the solution. Just follow the steps I outline and your game should work. If not, I apologize.

    1. Disconnect your Ethernet cable/Xbox 360 Wifi Networking Adapter

    2. Turn on your Xbox and sign in to your profile.

    3. Start up your game. Instead of remaining on the black screen, it should start like normal.

    4. If you need/want to do things online with the game (access cloud storage, online multiplayer, etc.), just reconnect your Ethernet cable/Xbox 360 Wifi Networking adapter, hit your Xbox button on the controller, select "Connect to Xbox LIVE", and voila!
You're into your game and connected to Xbox LIVE.

I hope this was helpful to anyone who read it. Happy gaming!

    "Xbox On" Black Screen

    Hey,

I'm having an issue with the "Xbox On" command. Kinect recognizes my command and turns both the Xbox and my TV on. The problem is that when my TV turns on all it shows is a black screen. I've checked to see if it had something to do with the TV turning on
to the wrong "source", but this isn't the issue. I have the xbox plugged into HDMI3 and the TV turns on to HDMI3. Even weirder is the fact that I can use my controller to move around the Xbox (without seeing what I'm doing as the TV screen is black) and I
can hear the audio of my movements. So it seems audio is working but video is not.

In order to fix the issue I simply turn the Xbox off manually and power it back on. I can then see the Xbox Home menu on my TV.

Anyone have any idea as to what the issue is? Thanks!
