    How to buy games on my US Xbox while in South Korea?


    Hi I am an American I am currently in the United States Army posted in South Korea. I'm try to buy Elder scrolls 4 Oblivion on my Xbox one. I've tried using my Microsoft points (50 bucks). But I guess I can't buy that game with that according to my Xbox.
    So I said ok I'll just use my credit card but that didn't work it told me that it is unable to purchase at the moment. I went to the website Hopeing it would work there.......says the same thing someone please help I'm gona be here a whole year so I would
    like to fix this issue thanks!!!!!

    I currently live in South Africa and own an Xbox 360, I am moving to South Korea in May and would like to buy and Xbox One while there. My question is, would the Xbox One bought in South Korea be backwards compatible with the Xbox 360 games bought in South

    Can't play games from another region

    I bought my Xbox 360 console in the USA and I live in South Africa. I bought a game in South Africa and it won't play on my console. Is there any way to get the game/s from South Africa to play as I won't always be able to buy games in the US as I live in
    South Africa?

    If you're going to be in South Korea long enough then buy an XBox ONE and enjoy the games.

    Eventually you'll move. Probably the best thing to do will be to sell your South Korean XBox ONE and purchase a new one in the US.

    Customer support will help you to move your profile from South Korea to the USA.

    You do not have to sell your games as they are region free.

    This is just a suggestion from me which I think will afford you the least amount of hassle.

    Still Can't Change xbox live account region

    Korea not on the drop down menu for countries to migrate to

    You can select south Korea not Korea as it is 2 separate countries and seeing as north Korea is not allowed on the network due to the us embargo

    The gift cards and codes are region locked. Meaning if you’re in South Korea now the gift card must be from South Korea if you wish to redeem it now.
