How to buy games for xbox with redeemed vouchers?

You can simply search for any game that you would like to buy and in the process where it will ask for a payment method you'll be able to see and use the Microsoft balance that you have added.

Hiya, I'm on my xbox one now and at the checkout screen and it says "get started! Add a way to pay." The next screen is add a new payment method, the next screen is just asking me to out in my card details?

If you buy an Xbox Bundle, you'll have a voucher with a game code in the box. You then apply this code to your console when you open the Xbox Store and open the Redeem Code entry.

If you received a voucher via an event or offer you would need to contact those that issued the voucher for more info.

It would be best as well to double check the voucher for any extra info on how to redeem it.

Just look for the Xbox branded money voucher cards. They work on all Xbox consoles (even the Xbox 360). You just need to buy and then redeem them on the console.
