REPLACEMENT XBOX ONE POWER CABLE

my power cable for xbox one stopped working and I cant seem to be able to find where to buy an original Microsoft xbox one power cable. most I saw on amazon are other brands and do not look exactly the same. how can I get one?

How to buy a New Power Supply

Microsoft does not sell spare power supply units for the Xbox One. They are only attained as part of a service request on your console.

First, try what insikoi mentioned by cleaning the PSU and giving it some breathing room for airflow. See if that helps with the noise.

If you are talking about the simple power cable that connects the power supply to the wall/mains, you can use an existing cable in the household as a replacement, as they are quite commonly used with desktop computers, LCD monitors,
TVs, and other appliances.

The Xbox One uses the IEC-standard
C17 connector to plug into the power brick. You can substitute it with a
C13 connector, as these are very common and you might have an extra C13 sitting in the house somewhere! Third-party C17/C13 power cables are also very cheap to find online.

I guess I understand but doesn't seem a bit absurd to tell buyers of your product to use a specific power cable and then not even sell that power cable or offer information on where to buy one?

I've been using video game systems for years. I've always been able to buy an OEM power supply/cable. This is the first time I've experienced this.
