How to buy a Kinect and Power Supply separate?

Hi,

I have my xbox one at home, but dropped the wires for both the Kinect and power supply behond my walls.



My inlaws have a second house I use regularly since they are only in it about one month a year, and its only 90 min from mine.



I would like to be able to travel with my xbox one without having to fish wires in and out of walls each time.



Does anyone know If I can but these two things separate?

Kinect and 2008 white hdmi console

The retail stand-alone Kinect package includes a power supply for Kinect. It's attached to the Kinect's power cable in the box.



Buy a retail package. People reselling the Kinect bundled with the 360 on eBay don't sell it with the power supply. The Kinect that comes with a 360 S doesn't come with one.

 

How to buy a New Power Supply

Microsoft does not sell spare power supply units for the Xbox One. They are only attained as part of a service request on your console.

First, try what insikoi mentioned by cleaning the PSU and giving it some breathing room for airflow. See if that helps with the noise.

If it continues to act the same, you can request it a repair/replacement through several ways:

• Enter your console's serial number and review your options on the Device Support webpage:

Would have to be through Microsoft directly if possible at all. No retail stores sell them off the shelves separately.

 

i've seen people selling their Kinects on eBay, haven't seen power supplies.

 

Power supply you can get by starting a repair on
myservice.xbox.com and on the shipping page click on the link that shows the part isn't listed.

There's no way to order a second Kinect via Microsoft. Kinect is its own "console", it's not an accessory.

 

The power supply I can understand, but why in the world would you want another Kinect ? Unless you do a lot of Skype or love dance games, the thing is worthless. Heck, i'd even say its as worthless as Rob the Robot for the NES. At least that thing looked
cool.

 

Actually, we do alot of skype and = - well the dance is an easy party gamea fter a few drinks!
