    How to block the Xbox Profile?


    Yeah so how do I block the Xbox Profile? I'm getting annoyed from the "Deals" and "promotions" that are going on. They are super annoying. They pop up on the Xbox Windows app and even with Notifications turned OFF it still pops up. I don't even use 99.99%
    of the games they have promotions on, its the equivalent of being
    harassed by a spam caller. I should be able to turn it off or just out right block it, or an option to opt out of said (crappy) promotions/deals.

    On top of that, my status is always saying "Online" even when I have it set to "Show status offline" Everyone can still see what I am doing and this has yet to be fixed in the 3 years this app has been out.

    How to block the Xbox Profile?

    Go to Xbox beta app or companion app > settings > notifications. Turn the ones off you want

    Either that or just sign out of the app when your not using it.

    You can also go to Notifications and action settings on windows and turn off notifications for xbox (scroll down to xbox)

    Hello Camie,

    Sorry for the issue with blocking people. When they message are they on a different account? When you block an account that account in respect is unable to send any messages to you.

    Here is the how to topic     from enforcement on blocking. Personally my child blocked someone they messaged him on other profiles. You can try removing and re-adding your profile to the account. If you get messages from them, then try blocking them on the
    Xbox app on a PC.
