How to block new profile creation and all downloads ?

I have 2 children, both with children accounts. They are set to download nothing In family and parent controls.

The issue is that: even with this setting, they can still download. Additionally they can create a new profile, and this can download free games, demos, trials, etc.

The problem, is my ISP has a monthly usage limit, and the downloads are blowing through the limit, which is costing me money. I have chatted with MS support and they say it can't happen.

any way to truly block all downloads and also block new profile creation?

Finding microsoft password

Choose 'Download Profile' on your console's sign in page.

If it's a brand new console, skip the profile creation part.

It might have to do with the way the parent/administrator account is set up. You may have to go into the main account and set it up so the downloads are not allowed and set a password (main account) for downloads.

I just checked with my profile and it is better if you go online on the computer and set up on xbox settings to not download anything. I don't see anything about requiring a password to purchase stuff.

Hi amyeu77!

I am afraid that there's no such option to block or to disable downloading on your console. Though, we can filter the contents that the they can play or download by putting a content filters on the account. It is available on Microsoft Family for added members to it.
