How to block messages. Xbox one.

I would just say block the person, report and remember the name and ensure they do not try to make another account to try and cause problems.

Have you tried to remove him from your friends list? Maybe this is the reason why the Block dont work right...

I have looked at your profile and notice that it is not 'locked down'. At the moment anyone can see your friends list, achievements, captures etc.

I think it would be wise to go into your Settings and select Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox Live privacy > View details & customize >

Here you can change lots of settings to make you invisible to those not on your friends list. I would highly recommend you change everything to 'friends only'.

I would also delete the conversation with this individual, but first double check their account (by looking at their profile page) and hit the block or report this user. Hit block.

If another message comes through do not reply.



You shouldn't be able to receive any messages after this, but just for added buff I think in your case I'd also do a hard reset on my xbox and clear the cashe.

To do this: Hold down the xbox button on the console until it powers down, then remove the power cable from the back and leave for a minute before powering back up.

Your profile should now be totally invisible to them.

We understand that you're experiencing an issue concerning the inability to stop this one user from messaging you through the Xbox messages feature.

Just to make sure too, you're not messaging them after blocking them right? That would undo the block.
