  1. How to Better Backwards Compatibility

Now I am someone who's on the fence on buying an Xbox One S, what would finalize my decision would be an improvement to the backwards compatibility. What do I mean? Well, the way backwards compatibility has been handled is rather silly. Whether it's the
Xbox 360 or the Xbox One backwards compatibility is handled through individual emulators downloaded via updates. It would be better if, at least for Xbox One, the emulators covered both Xbox 360 and Original Xbox in general, just a single emulator for either
console. A single emulator for Xbox 360 that allows for any and all Xbox 360 games to be played on the Xbox One console, the same for Original Xbox, that way the whole library from all three consoles are available. Creating individual emulators for individual
games not only excludes games from the system but must also require alot of resources, not only would single general emulators increase the value of the Xbox One for anyone who hasn't bought one yet, such as myself, but it would also take up much less time,
energy, and money, making it a better option for the Xbox team and Microsoft as a whole. Why this is not implemented is beyond me, PC gamers are able to create fan emulators that can play any and all games available from a console on PC, and Microsoft would
benefit greatly from this by spending less money and time making these emulators and would increase the sales of the Xbox One. Please, if anyone from the Xbox division and/or Microsoft is checking this out, please do this, you'll get my money indefinitely!

  3. backwards compatibility

Mislead that Xbox one had backwards compatibility, I see very few games on the list. I am very upset, so upset I may go to Play Station which has much better backwards compatibility.

You're thinking that the Xbox One achieves BC through pure emulation of the Xbox 360 hardware, like a PC type emulator does it, right? Well, you'd be wrong.

This isn't how the Xbox One does it. The Xbox One's Radeon based APU, isn't an 'off the shelf' piece of hardware, it was custom designed to directly support Xbox 360 graphics architecture, in what they call a VGPU or Virtual GPU.

Due to the fundamental difference between the CPU architecture of the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One, all games that are BC have been recompiled to X86. This is so much quicker than trying to emulate the Xbox 360's PowerPC hardware. In fact, I don't think the
Xbox One's CPU would be up to task anyway.

This is why, even if you insert an Xbox 360 disc into an Xbox One, the game is always downloaded from LIVE. The Update is the game.
