How to allow a custom profile pic for my child?

I have spent a good bit of time trying to search for an answer to this, my apologies if I have missed anything. My son has a child account and wants to use a custom profile picture but there doesn't seem to be a way to make this happen. I can understand
if there are restrictions on a child changing the picture themselves, and I would like to work within the rules and not try and go around them, but it seems there should be a way for me to approve or assign a picture for his profile. I can use the Xbox Beta
app to change my profile picture to a custom one, but cannot modify his.

Profile pic stuck on Avatar

I'm experiencing issues with viewing my profile picture.

I uploaded a custom pic, all my friends can see it when they look at my profile (I've also spoken with customer service and they could see my pic as well).

However On my console there is no pic and it only shows my avatar( my profile even has the switch to avatar option active, which to me means it thinks the profile pic is already there)

. does anyone know how I can make it change on my end so I can see my own profile picture?

Im trying to add a custom gamer pic to my profile and I cant find out how to on my Insider Hub app.

 

Currently there is no way to allow child accounts to upload a custom pic.

 

Does that mean there is also no way for a parent to upload a custom pic to be used for the child account?
