How to adjust stereo adapter? (14th april update)

Until now it was so simple:

Left side (UP for in-game volume up, DOWN for in-game volume down)

Right side (UP for party volume up, DOWN for party volume down)

And now:

Left side (UP for in-game audio and party volume UP, DOWN is for game and party down, sometimes only party or only in-game volume down)

Right side as above...both buttons (UP and DONW) for in-game and party.

Omg, what is this?

Xbox One Controller & Stereo Headset Adapter Update

When you do the controller/stereo headset adaptor upgrade that is rolling out in now on April 14th, should you also remove the batteries from the controller prior to connecting the USB cable and performing the update?

I recall reading somewhere for the earlier March update, that one needed to do that.

 

Stereo Headset and Adapter Issues

"As of the April 2014 Xbox One System Update, the firmware update for the controller and stereo headset adapter has been updated and includes significant improvements to audio quality with the Stereo Headset Adapter and the process of updating controllers.
If you have taken the update previously and are having issues with your stereo headset adapter, please update your controller again with the latest Controller Update. You can update your controller by going to Settings, System, and then Controller update."

It is now April and still no update. So this means by the end of April?

it's working exactly this way now..I don't like it.

 

Here I thought... (which would make sense)

Press LEFT SIDE (controller icon)

then RIGHT SIDE +/- to adjust the Game volume

LEFT SIDE (person icon)

then RIGHT SIDE +/- to adjust the Chat volume

Any chance to up that into the "April" update?

 

So here is the skinny: (talking about the Controller icon and person icon LEFT SIDE)

Game/Chat balance: These two buttons adjust the mix of game audio versus chat audio. At default, the mix is 50/50, but you can adjust it to anywhere from 100/0 to 0/100. For example, if you want more game volume than chat volume, press the button with the
controller icon until you reach the level you want. A tone will sound when you have reached 100 percent.
