    Hi,

    If your profile on the Xbox One was a local profile I'm afraid these accounts can not be transferred to an Xbox One / Series X|S. Only accounts with Xbox Live and a corresponding Xbox Live Gamertag can be used on the Xbox One.

    Of you mean the friends that you have on your friends list, they should still be on your friends list when you upgrade.

    Now if you wanna add people, you can look up their gamertag in the search prompt and add them (They will show on the Xbox One dashboard).
