How to add to friend's list?

On your xbox controller click the guide button and then move over to the friends tab. Once there click on find someone and enter in the players gamertag. I hope that this helped.

1. How many friends do you currently have on your Friend's List?
2. What is the exact error message you're seeing when you try to add friends to your Friend's List?
   
3. Are others able to add you to their Friend's List? I sent you a Friend Request. Tell me if you can see it/accept it.

The way it works is a bit cumbersome. When you "add a friend", which used to send a request, it now just adds them to your friends list, and adds you to their followers list. In order for you to be on their friends list they have to go into their follwers
list, and click on "add as friend". Their are quite a few friends Ive added from threads on the forums for various games, that dont know this because Im still just following them, they have not added as a friend.

Yes, this is how I was able to add the child as a friend. This plan does not seem to work, however, with non-family friends. He sends the friend invite, but they do not receive it.

As a backup plan I am just having them add me then add my kid’s gt through my friends list. Trying that now.
