How to add friend in Minecraft

Hi there, adding a friend on Xbox is super simple. Simply use the find a friend feature, search their GamerTag, then click follow. You can now invite them to your games and parties!

You may want to search for your friend's gamertag and add him/her and if you both play at the same time, you'll see each other under friend's list in the game.

Please Follow These Steps :

To invite your Xbox friends to join you in a Minecraft game, select the Play button on the main menu in Minecraft, select Members, and then select the Invite button next to your friend’s name. To invite Xbox friends to play in Microsoft Realms, see Minecraft Realms and Realms Plus page.

Once you are signed into your Microsoft account on the device that you want to use to play with your friends, you should be able to follow these simple steps in order to add your friends and play online with them:

a. Click “Play” on the homescreen
b. Toggle to the right onto the “Friends” tab
c. Click the button to “Add Friend”

d. Find friends by entering their Microsoft Gamertag
