    How to activate cross platform Xbox One with family settings


    Hi,

    I have corrected all setting for my son, to ensure that he should be able to play cross platform in Fortnite, however sadly the game within the XBOX doesnt show the menu as an option?

    Any suggestions or ideas?

    Can't log in to an account after leaving a family

    Family settings don't allow cross-platform play on games, so I want to remove family features. When one of the accounts leaves, it is unable to sign in again until it joins a family. How can I make the account an independent account where it doesn't need
    to be in a family to sign in? The birth year on the account is also set to an age above 18.

    What does it stop you at?

    Does it display some kind of error, or go back to the home screen?

    If it does the latter, then I would suggest troubleshooting this with the steps outlined in “My Xbox One game won’t start or freezes during gameplay” and
    see if that helps with the issue.

    Let us know how that helped out or if you do get any error

    Minecraft Cross-Play

    For Cross-Platform access, you will need to do the following:

    Xbox One: You will need to make sure that you are set up and signed in on the console. Then go to Settings
    > Account > Family Settings > Manage family members. Select your account, and then Privacy and Online Safety > Xbox Live Privacy > View
    details and customize > Communication and multiplayer. Under You can play with people outside Xbox Live,
    change "Block" to "Allow". This will allow any game with cross-play – Minecraft, Fortnite and the like – to connect you to others on a non-Xbox platform.
