Ive hade this heaset for about 2 months and its already ***. One minute Im talking to people in a party then suddenly the mic breaks. Its a joke

Does the mic work on other controllers? Are the batteries fully charged? If you are using a wireless pad, low batteries will cause the Mic to stop working.

hello my fellow gamers

Wow, I was beginning to think my Xbox was starting to go, but now I'm thinking it's GOW3. My wireless mic use to 'cut out' while playing. Nothing else happened... it would just stop working and the voice would come through the speakers rather than the
mic. Just over the past few days, it actually freezes the game (playing online MP). I know it's the mic, every time I hear the sound from the mic stop, the game freezes, usually for a couple seconds, then it starts playing normally when the mic starts working
again. WTH!?

did you try a hard reset of the console before coming to the conclusion that the mic is broken. also which mic are you using, are your controllers and console up to date.

yes ive hard reset the console, uptdated the controller and its the xbox one stereo headset.

If your in the UK take it back to the retailer for an exchange.

Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One for 10 seconds.
Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord and unplug your headset from your controller.
Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console and headset.
Make sure that your headset is not muted and try joining a party to see if the issue continues.
If the issue continues, try using your headset with a different controller to see if the issue continues to occur.
