...that Battlefield 4 is nearly completely unplayable on XBL....oh those top 5 servers with 47 players waiting in the que followed by hundreds of empty servers that are un-joinable are a hoot, but I gotta just say that you suck XBL ...just a friendly little
FYI....if anyone here has a PS4, you're in luck as the game runs just fine as do their servers...full and empty (PS4 has the bonus of premium headsets chat working too)

I love when I call and talk to the friendly courteous staff at 18004MYXBOX that they are completely oblivious to the fact that BF4 doesn't really work on XB1 or that alot of their customers are grabbing their pitchforks and lighting torches ......when I
present them with the problem, I'm told to call EA...been there, and it's a frustrating exercise in futility.

the fanbois will cry out "just be patient...just be patient" .....NO, I think XBL could be a bit nicer in this instance, see, EA got my money at the register when I bought the game, but XBL got my money when I purchased premium and for my monthly service...and
when the service is subpar, I don't care who's responsible....I'm paying XBL to play, so maybe some prorating is in order...then XBL can go extract their pound of flesh from EA themselves

Its the COD games that are getting them banned.

All the COD games have modded lobbies, playing in them gets you banned.

The issue should be fixed now. If it is still not showing properly on the console, try earning another achievement. This should force the update. Let me know if this helps!

 

Okay, so, I know you said you don't care who's fault it is but the the service is fine, the issue is on EA's side and there isn't exactly anything Microsoft would be able to do. There quite a few articles about the bugs with battlefield 4 including connectivity
to online. All my other games work perfectly fine online on xbox one.

I contacted xbox support about me not being able to connect to games in battlefield and they said that they were sorry I was (and still am) experiencing these problems and that Battlefield 4 has been having a lot of bugs and glitches. Support also told me
that EA sent them an email about the issues stating that they are planning to release an update in the next 3-5 days that is supposed to fix more of the bugs with their game. It's also still possible to join games, you just have to go through the server browser
and wait in a line to get into a game, so you can still play it's just really inconvenient.

 

but then I paid XBL for content that I can't play...and you saying EA contatcing XBL is just hearsay as far as I'm concerned because every single XBL support person I've spoken to claims that my call is the first they've ever heard of a problem with

bf4 on XBL and they go so far as to "research" it while I'm on the phone with them....though I suspect they're playing angry birds or solitaire at that point .....and the service is not fine because if the service were fine, people wouldn't be complaining
....EA servers...DICE servers...who cares? ....I'm paying XBL for the service AND premium .....I'm not paying DICE or EA ,but XBL ....when HBO decides to quit working on my TV, I call DISH...not HBO .....I take my Mustang to the dealership not FORD for maintenance

Umm you do realize the games just as buggy on ps4 as the one right? What people will do to defend there system of choice

The service with this game is horrible but there truly is nothing XBL could do to just make it work. When it was released it was working... for the most part at least, and that's what mattered at the time. Now it obviously isn't.

True but this isn't TV. Did you walk into a store and think 'I want just HBO' bye it, take it home, stick it into your, whatever DISH uses I don't really know, cable box in my case, and start watching HBO. Usually when you get the Mustang it's fully built.

So PSN, Xbox, (possibly PC I'm not really sure) all got food poisoning? If Xbox didn't provide this game because they didn't think it was ready while PS did they would be getting battered for it and now because they did and it wasn't ready they are getting
battered. XB isn't the only platform experiencing these issues which is one of the big reasons why I'm not going at them because of the issue. I'm going after EA for releasing a game that wasn't ready. Dice is the cook, EA is the restaurant in the case of
a person that is a computer gamer.

PSN's somewhat slower DL speed, this time around it's service seems more stable ...now despite the over-all superiority of the PS4's hardware, XB1 was still my ''system of choice'' because of XBL's track record with their service ....I let me illustrate, I
own about 30 PS3 titles (mostly their exclusives) and I own about 130 Xbox360 titles ....I don't ever trade or sell my games ....I'm not a fanboi like you or your pals, I'm simply a consumer who dislikes it when something I've bought and paid for isn't working

let me further say, that upper echelon XBL bigwigs need to be sending memos or emails or even an occasional post-it to their support staff, considering Xbox One has about 10 or less major titles to worry about at the moment, keeping their support staff abreast
of MAJOR issues with one of them might be a good idea considering the call volume ....how can no XBL support person not have heard of the BF4 issue?

 

XBL service is just the middleman...I get that....but they're still the ones charging me....I don't care if 99% goes to EA or whoever....XBL are the ones taking my money, so like it or not, I'm still holding XBL partially accountable ...I always do ....I
run a brokerage, I'm just the middleman ....but if I promise to do a job, I'm required to do so ...whether or not the person paying me keeps their part of the bargain .....and I have been screwed over in business, but luckily, I've never screwed over the people

I figured talking with my friends from PSN about how mad we were about it and some posts on a PSN forum would be accurate enough to make that statement

As am I, when I got simcity 5 and it wasn't working I was mad, I talked to EA and they gave all the affected people a free game of our choice from a small selection of their choice, a large amount of U-verse internet providers couldn't connect to Xbox Live
after an update for U-verse had been released, a lot of people came to Xbox first and then went to AT&T to tell them to hurry up and fix what they had messed up, the affected users got I believe it was 3 free months of Gold (it might have been less), GTAV
online obviously wasn't, and still isn't, ready. I was and still am mad about that. Although they did give me $500,000 in game money for online which I appreciate but I'd still like all the things that were promised to me in the ads to be in the game already.
I don't blame Microsoft for it, I blame Rockstar games for releasing a product that wasn't complete. Although, online isn't the most important part of that game but still.

Anyways, at this point I'm done with this thread, I came here to try and point out that it's not Microsofts fault for the issues happening in bf4 are not their fault and I think I've done that.
