    With my current wireless setup, I only get about 6mbps, and it doesn't take me that long to download and install a game at all. A full download and install of Forza 5 seemed pretty quick to me.

    I got FH2 on disc and installing took less than 15 minutes. Maybe it's your X1.

    How slow is this thing

    5 to 10 minutes tops for a disc based game install, only DL'd a few titles like Outcast and Forza 5 but no more than 20 minutes for digital here.

    Download speeds on XB1 have been pretty quick for me with both discs and DLC, much faster than on my 360.

    I would run one one of these speed checkers on a wired desktop, if that is an option, to see what it is getting. They are playable within 10 minutes for me everytime, I am fiber though as well and get 8-9meg/sec if servers allow.

    I've done nothing but digital and I can usually play my games within 15 min of starting the download. Are you wired or wireless?

    I would run one one of these speed checkers on a wired desktop, if that is an option, to see what it is getting. They are playable within 10 minutes for me everytime, I am fiber though as well and get 8-9meg/sec if servers allow.
