How on earth can you cancel auto renewal???

I have 12 months subscription now but I am going round in circles trying to cancel the monthly auto renewal for X Box Gold Live. Can someone please help???

Gold Membership Trial Question

You will still have to turn off auto-renewal after you start a trial. Anytime you start a trial or subscription from Xbox, it will turn on auto-renewal even if you have turned it off before. You can find out how to turn off auto-renewal here -

you should be able to access your subscription page from you account. In the upper right hand corner of the screen there should be a link that say "My Account if you follow that link, there should be a larger link in the upper center of the screen that
says "subscriptions" from there you should be able to "cancel automatic payment"

it should be the page at this link https://account.xbox.com/en-US/Subscriptions/Manage the cancel option is right below the renewal date. I hope this helps in future scenarios.

Hello Hector,

Thanks for coming to the forums. You can view the guide on how to cancel a subscription.
You need to either turn off auto renew or cancel the subscription manually. If it is on auto renew and you do not play it will still continue to charge you.
