    How much would it cost me to have quick resume disabled on my Xbox?


    It’s clearly the worst feature I’ve ever seen in any technology, literally NEVER works on ANY game. I have never not had issues using quick resume with a game. Even if it worked 50% of the time I wouldn’t be here BEGGING for help. At this point I would be willing to pay just to be able to disable it on my console, please help me. I hate having to quit every game before I turn the console off because I know I will have to quit when I start again in quick resume and the game won’t work at all.

    Disabling quick resume is being explored, but there is no ETA on when it will happen or even if it can. Quick resume is baked into the hardware at very low level and may not be able to be disabled.

    Xbox series X has no in game sound but has sound on dashboard and everywhere else

    In my case it helped to disable HDR in Xbox settings and don't use Quick Resume.

    I can understand exactly how you feel. I be loading into Apex Legends and get disconnected, It would nice if quick resume was toggle able

    Game continues to play in background.

    The game running in the background and reloading is a feature of the Xbox One. If you would like to disable this you can go to Settings > Power & Startup > Quick Resume

    Quick resume is not something that can be disabled at this time. You need to go out to the dashboard, hit the start button on the game, and go to quit to ensure it does not enter quick resume
